Plan the whole season before the first subculture.

AgarToAgro is planning software for tissue culture labs — from mother plant initiation all the way to batch production in the field. Build the plan once, and your whole team works from the same timeline.

Crops supported right now: Potato Banana More as demand comes in.

Lab to land. The swaying is decorative; your plantlets should stay still.

The day goes into the work, not into the paperwork

Planning takes days on a spreadsheet. Updates get passed by word of mouth and something always slips. When one person leaves, the new person has no idea where the season stands. These are the gaps AgarToAgro closes.

Season plan

Give it your delivery target and it works out the rest — mother plants, vessels, media, technician days, week by week. Change one input and the whole plan moves with it.

Potato runs on generations. Banana runs on subculture cycles.

Today's work

Log what was actually done today — subcultures completed, transfers, media batches. Anyone on the team can open it and see where the day ended and what tomorrow needs.

Replaces the daily standup.

Batch monitor

Every batch in one list with its stage, count and contamination flag, so a problem batch is visible the day it turns instead of a week later.

Stage, count, loss, one screen.

Bottleneck alerts

Flags the week where vessels, media or hardening space will run short before you reach it, so the fix is a purchase order and not a lost cycle.

Full detail once you're in.

Pest and disease check

Upload a photo of a suspect plant or culture and get a first-pass reading on what it looks like, with what to check next. A second opinion, not a verdict.

Always confirm in the lab.

Your own protocols

Every lab has its own media recipes, hormone concentrations, cycle lengths and multiplication rates. Enter yours and the plan is built on your numbers.

Your data, your parameters.

A season laid out in weeks

This is what the plan looks like once it is built — every cycle placed on a week, with the requirement attached and the tight weeks already marked.

The full planner, with mother plant and media figures, opens after you log in.

Your data stays yours

A tissue culture company's production data is commercially valuable, so we treat it that way. Nobody sees what happens inside your account except you and the people you give access to. We do not use your production data to train AI models.

Export it whenever you want, and ask us to delete it — gone from our servers within 14 days.

Honest about what it is

AgarToAgro is a planning and monitoring tool. It works on the numbers you feed it, and software with AI in it can get things wrong — so a trained person still checks the output before a season depends on it.

Multiplication rates in particular depend on your hormone concentrations, genotype and lab conditions. Treat every figure as a starting point to calibrate.

Why this exists

Built by someone who spent five years inside tissue culture labs and production floors, watching the same problem repeat in every company.

Yes, the cells wiggle. No, that is not a diagnostic feature.

Over five years in tissue culture the same thing kept showing up: the most important part of a company's year is the planning, and only then the execution. But planning itself eats weeks. It happens across spreadsheets and conversations, so a communication gap or one thing slipping someone's mind turns into a real shortfall against the final production target.

Small things get missed in the middle of a full working day. If someone leaves, the person replacing them has no idea what the target is or where to pick up, and takes far longer to get useful than they should. Even the daily meeting that is supposed to fix all this costs everyone time.

Time is the most valuable thing in a lab. When the work is arranged in a structured way and the plan is already set for months ahead, the pressure comes off and the actual work gets done properly. A new person can see the target and where to start. An update for the whole team goes into the planning tool instead of into a meeting. And anyone can check the live log of what was finished today, with tomorrow's plan already prepared.

Visiting companies confirmed it was a genuine, common problem rather than one lab's. It is still being shaped — feedback from people running real labs is what takes it closer to right.

Why not just use a chatbot

A general chatbot does not know what your lab has in stock, what your multiplication rate actually is, or which cycle you are in this week. It has no memory of your season and no record of what your team did today.

AgarToAgro is built only for agriculture and biotech production, by people who have done the work in a lab rather than read about it. It plans on the parameters you enter, keeps the record, and keeps it private.

How we work

What you get out depends on what you put in, and we keep improving the tool around that. We are not tied to any institution's protocols and we are not a certifying body.

Full control sits with you: export your data any time, and ask for deletion whenever you want — removed within 14 days.

Where this is going

We want to grow slowly but properly — finding every margin of error and correcting it, rather than shipping fast and leaving labs to deal with the gaps. The aim is to strengthen the tissue culture industry across India with two things: planning that holds up, and detection of pests, insects and disease from an image.

Looking a bit further ahead than next week's subculture.
Now

Potato and banana, done properly

Both crops are supported today, each on its own logic — potato through its generation scheme, banana through subculture cycles set to whatever the company needs. Other crops get added as demand appears, not before.

2

Open to every kind of lab

We are not targeting one segment. Private seed companies, state and departmental labs, research station labs, small independent labs — all of them plan the same way, so all of them are welcome.

3

Sharper detection

More training on real field and culture images, so the pest and disease reading becomes dependable rather than indicative. This is a long job and we would rather say it is in progress than oversell it.

4

Remote sensing

In coming years, bringing remote sensing into the field side of the picture so problems in a planted block can be spotted from above and traced back to the batch that came out of the lab.
